Leonard Jahnke

Leonard is a PhD student in the Aceto Lab. He received his Bachelor‘s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Tübingen in 2021. During an internship at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, he investigated mutations in EGFR that cause drug resistance in non-small cell lung cancer. Subsequently, he gained insights into research in the pharmaceutical industry, during an internship at Roche.

Recently, he obtained a master’s degree in Molecular and Structural Biology at ETH Zürich. In his master’s thesis, he investigated human DNA damage repair pathways using CRISPR/Cas genome editing technology.
