Francois Cuenot

François is currently enrolled as a PhD student in the Aceto lab.

Before joining us, he worked as a research associate in the laboratory of Prof. Stergiopulos, EPFL, Lausanne, Switzerland, investigating the role of renin-angiotensin system peptides on platelet function using cell-based assays (see Augusto Martins Lima et al. Int J Mol Sci. 2020) and screening molecules for the development of antiplatelet therapy.

François graduated from Polytech Nice Sophia, University of Côte d'Azur, France in 2019 with an MSc. in Bioengineering.

During his masters, he followed intensive trainings in the laboratories of Prof. Stergiopulos, EPFL, Lausanne, Switzerland (see above) and Prof. Reed, Harvard University, Boston, USA, contributing to the screening of small molecules to treat the mis-splicing of a gene involved in a neurodegenerative pathology.
