Yongzhan Zhang
Yongzhan is a Ph.D. student in the Aceto lab. Before joining our lab, he worked at Yale University as a research associate focused on analyzing scRNA-Seq data to determine factors relative to NK cell exhaustion and persistence. Yongzhan obtained his MSc from Northwestern University in Evanston, USA, where he investigated the effect of disruption of the super-elongation complex by chemical perturbation in H3K27M-mutant DIPG cells by analyzing RNA-seq and ChIP-seq data (see H Katagi et al., Neuro-oncology., 2021). During his masters, he also investigated novel genetic heterogeneity between rare subtypes of melanoma by next-generation sequencing (see V Quan et al., JID., 2020, K Shi et al., JAAD., 2020).
