Gilles is an MD-PhD student in the Aceto lab. He studied medicine at the University of Zurich and received his Federal Medical License in 2023. During his studies, he conducted research on the role of inflammasome activation in skin cancer at the University Hospital of Zurich and later studied mechanisms of immunotherapy resistance at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, USA. He was awarded a national MD-PhD grant from the Swiss Academy of Medical Sciences to train as a researcher in the Aceto lab.
